Mastercard Corporate Card

The MasterCard Corporate Card enables you to make cash-free purchases at authorized commercial establishments or withdraw cash anywhere in the world from ATMs displaying the MasterCard logo. The card is also an internationally recognized mean of cash-free payment, in Europe 7 million acquiring places are registered by MasterCard. The safety of your account is ensured by an individual PIN code associated with each card

• Based on your request our bank issues an unlimited number of Matercard Corporate cards for your employees. We open a card account linked to your main account for card transaction settlement only.
• The daily available limit of the transactions made by all of the card holders equals to the balance of your card account. Once a day Citibank automatically transfers funds from the main account to the card account to ensure that the balance on the card account is brought to the level defined by you. The sum of the cards' limit may exceed the limit of the card account, however, the card holders cannot spend more than the daily opening balance of the card account.

1. Information on card requests and activations

When requesting a card you have to define the opening balance of the card account and the individual limit of the cards linked to it. This limit and the opening balance can be modified upon request.

A couple of days after requesting the card we will mail the PIN code and the card separately. Cards are mailed in inactive status. When you submit the duly signed Card Receipt form we will activate your cards. You can start to use your cards two days after the activation. We automatically renew the cards free of charge in every two years.

2. Card linked services

All card transactions will be debited on the card account the next business day with value date being the day of transaction. You receive a detailed daily statement on the card account containing all card spending. Cardholders can retrieve information about the card transactions and the account from our CitiService and CitiDirect electronic banking system. A 24-hour hotline service for cancelling the cards is available on +36 (1) 421 2299 in case of stolen and lost cards. Losses ocurring after card cancellation are borne by Citibank.
